Fr. Jorge Alvarado was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, the youngest of 4 children, two sisters and a brother. He has served in various roles in the church from a young age and experienced his conversion at age 18 through the Charismatic Renewal. It was through his service with the evangelization team in Monterrey, Mx that he received his calling to the priesthood and to the community of the Companions of the Cross. Fr. Jorge was ordained a priest in 2015 and is currently assigned to the Catholic Charismatic Center in Houston, TX where he serves as Director. His desire is to make everybody know that JESUS is Alive, to make present the Kingdom of God in our midst and to train the laity to do the same. Pbro. Jorge Alvarado nació y creció en Monterrey, Mx. Él es el menor de su familia y cuenta con dos hermanas y un hermano. Él ha servido en varios ministerios en la Iglesia desde joven y experimentó una conversión a la edad de 18 años. En ese momento se dio cuenta que Jesús está Vivo y que tiene poder para sanar y transformar vidas. A través de su servicio en el ministerio de Evangelización en México, sintió el llamado a ser sacerdote. Pbro. Jorge fue ordenado para los Compañeros de la Cruz en el 2015 y actualmente se encuentra sirviendo en el Centro Católico Carismático en Houston, TX. Su deseo es que toda persona tenga un encuentro personal con Jesucristo para que lo amen, lo sigan y descubran la misión que Dios tiene para ellos.
