Matt Kiernan has been an associate director for the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston for two years. His responsibilities for the archdiocese include all sacraments of initiation. Prior to working at the chancery, he spent ten years in parishes as a youth minister, young adult minister, and director of religious education. Matt has a MA in theology from the University of Notre Dame, and his biggest blessings are his wife and four children.
