You are invited to the 17th Annual In Memoria Sacred Music Concert! The Archdiocesan Choir and Archdiocesan Catholic Schools Chorus, will offer a program of profound beauty and consolation. We will remember in prayerful song our priests, deacons, and religious sisters and brothers who served the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and entered eternal life this past year, as well as all the faithful departed.

In this Jubilee Year of St. Francis, the concert centers on peace and hope. Highlights include Gregorian chant and Palestrina, contemporary works of consolation, and the full performance of Luigi Cherubini’s powerful Requiem in C minor—a rarely heard masterpiece that bridges Classical and Romantic eras and was deeply admired by Beethoven.
