This workshop is for parish and ministry leaders working with families who are seeking to advocate for a young child with special needs.  This program will be helpful for Catholic Chaplain Corps team members, Family Life ministers and those ministering to Persons with Disabilities.  Topics covered will include:

• Responding to parents’ practical, emotional, and spiritual concerns
• Realities of prenatal and perinatal medical care and how to respond with pastoral support
• Available resources for Houston-area families
