Marc Anthony Garcia was born in Houston and was raised in the Denver Harbor/Fifth Ward area. Grew up going to Resurrection Catholic Church in Denver Harbor/Fifth Ward.

After graduating from Yes Prep Fifth Ward, Marc left Texas to attend the University of the South in Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Sustainability. He returned home in search of a career and an opportunity to serve.

He met his fiancée, who at the time invited him back into the faith. He currently volunteers with Youth Ministry and the Knights of Columbus at their parish, Christ the Good Shepherd. When he’s not serving, he enjoys fishing, playing Pokémon Go, spending time with his godson, and hanging out with friends and family.
