Description
The new Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) has been approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Holy See for use in the dioceses of the United States. The Church begins use of the OCIA next month of December 1, 2024, and it will replace our current RCIA ritual text on Ash Wednesday, 2025. The vision of the new text is to form vibrant disciples in Christ. We will examine the principles and rites in these revised texts to develop new ideas for growth, learning, and effective evangelization in your faith community and discover practical ways these concepts can be realized in your parish.
