Melissa Alvarez is Associate Director in the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis. She leads our Ministry with Persons with Disabilities and has served the Archdiocese for over a decade in various ways. Those roles include former Catholic Schools lead teacher and in religious formation, as well as Director in an Early Childhood Center. Her background is in education with an emphasis on learning differences and has dedicated her time to advocating for people with disabilities. She is in partner and affiliate to the National Catholic Partnership on Disabilities (NCPD) and is part of the Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee (ADRC) for Harris County.
