Please join me for an immersive art-making experience. Together we will be focusing on process, rather than product to create intuitive works of art, in a child-centered environment that you can recreate in your own classroom. Using common materials, we’re going to allow ourselves to become absorbed in the art-making process to allow curiosity, experimentation and invention to guide us. As you move through this experience and later reflect upon it, you’ll be better equipped to see your own social and emotional growth, the cross-curricular connections you made and the myriad of learning that occurred naturally as you were in process and to apply this wisdom in your work with children.
