Sister Theresa Josephine is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province based in Houston. She holds certifications in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at levels 1, 2, and 3, a bachelor’s degree in theology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, and a master’s degree in theological studies from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. Since 2019, she has also been certified as a Formation Leader for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, training adults to become catechists at levels 1 and 2. Sister is convinced that Maria Montessori’s method of education is a holistic approach to learning, serving the whole child—their intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual self.
