Jaime Cortez is a talented composer, arranger, and performer dedicated to promoting better Hispanic liturgies and fostering cultural unity through worship. With a bachelor’s degree in music composition from Arizona State University, Cortez has been named Pastoral Musician of the Year in 2016 by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM). Known for songs like “Rain Down” and “Somos el Cuerpo de Cristo/We Are the Body of Christ,” he has released multiple solo collections and collaborative projects, including "Gracia y Amor/Grace and Love" and "Our Common Home." Cortez currently serves as Director of Liturgy & Music at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale, AZ, and resides in Mesa with his family.
