When requesting to minister outside of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston for weddings, funerals, baptisms, or a function in your capacity as a deacon, etc., you must request a letter of suitability. 

The following information is needed from the deacon to prepare the letter of suitability. 

Please submit your requests at least 30 days in advance, except for funerals (funeral requests are handled on an expedited basis),  and not more than six(6) months from desired date.
