Catechetics Modules are an important part of the Catechist Formation process. They are designed to provide formation and training in important catechetical methodology and pedagogy. To see how the catechetics modules fit into the overall catechist formation process please click here.

Working toward their Archdiocesan catechetical certificate, individuals will reflect on the power of our Catholic liturgical celebrations to illustrate what we believe and how our liturgy can best be used to catechize others. Participants will study selected liturgical rites to break open the symbols and prayers as primary sources for sacramental catechesis. As a result of participating in this module, individuals will come to understand that liturgy leads to catechesis and catechesis deepens our experience of liturgy.
