Fr. Luke Millette was born in Mobile, Alabama and attended Louisiana State University where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After college, he began working in Houston for BP at the Texas City Refinery. After several years as an engineer, he entered seminary for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He first studied philosophy at the University of Dallas before receiving degrees in Theology and Canon Law from the Gregorian University in Rome. He currently serves as the Judicial Vicar for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston while also teaching Canon Law at St. Mary’s Seminary. Additionally, he serves as a chaplain to the Order of Malta and has served for the past three years on the Board of Governors for the Canon Law Society of America. In his spare time, he can be found either reading or pursuing his love of the outdoors.
