Amy Auzenne is the Director of the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis for the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston. She is a veteran catechetical leader with over twenty years of ministry experience in parishes working with children, teens, and adults. Prior to her career in professional ministry, Amy worked for nearly ten years as a school and community social worker advocating for at-risk youth and families. Amy has a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Mt Holyoke College, a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston, and Masters degrees in Catholic Education and Faith and Culture from the University of St. Thomas (Houston). Amy and her husband Kelly Houston have been married for 26 years and are parents to four teen / young adult children.
