Name
Starting at Zero: How to Accompany Parents Who Have Very Little or No Faith Background
Time
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Description

Some parents arrive at sacramental prep with no religious vocabulary, no prayer habits, and no understanding of the Church — yet they deeply desire something good for their children. This talk addresses the reality most catechists face: parents who were never adequately formed themselves. It’s pastoral, hopeful, and practical — and it gives leaders the tools they desperately need, equipping catechists to meet these parents with patience, clarity, and genuine warmth. Leaders learn how to build trust, introduce foundational truths without overwhelming, and create small on-ramps that gently lead parents toward an encounter with Jesus.
