This workshop is designed to help catechists discover that their vocation is not to replace parents, but to equip and encourage them—a perspective that is both deeply Catholic and deeply hopeful. We will explore WHY the Church places parents at the center, how parish leaders can partner with, not replace parents; simple ways that can be implemented right now to help busy parents make those beginning steps, teaching them that doing this is fun and rewarding. It’s positive, practical, and speaks directly to the reality that sometimes catechists feel like they are carrying a difficult burden alone.
