Juan has 15 years’ experience with youth, young adults, and parents, and is a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community. Juan has a Passionist Spiritual Direction Certification and formation from Instituto Fe y Vida and the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He and his wife developed the Familias en la Fe curriculum for Spanish sessions with parents of students in grades 6–12.

He serves on the NFCYM Spanish Webinar committee, teaches at Instituto Fe y Vida, and supports both the Office of Young Adult and Campus Ministry and the Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He continues to pursue personal, professional, pastoral, theological, and spiritual development.
