Joel Gotera is a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He served as a Full-Time Missionary from 2016-2017 with Life Teen Missions in Georgia and with Adore Ministries from 2017-2018 at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas. He began working at St. Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear, Texas as the Assistant Coordinator of Youth Ministry in 2020. In 2023, he left St. Faustina to respond to a call to priesthood. He is now in his third year of seminary at St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston, TX.
