Jesus said that Mary ‘chose the better part,’ when she put herself at his feet. We can often be busy like Martha and think of all the lists and tasks we must do. Even a conference means a busy day. Before the day gets busy, spend some time listening to the Lord with Scripture. Using today’s Gospel, we will pray a Group Lectio Divina where there will be time for silence and a time to share if you like. Tools and tips for prayer will also be given through our time together. Feel free to bring a blanket or pillow if you would like to recline on the floor.
