Fr. Luke Millette was born in Mobile, Alabama and attended Louisiana State University where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After college, he began working in Houston for BP at the Texas City Refinery. After several years as an engineer, he entered seminary for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He first studied philosophy at the University of Dallas before receiving degrees in Theology and Canon Law from the Gregorian University in Rome. He currently serves as the Judicial Vicar for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston while also teaching Canon Law at St. Mary’s Seminary. Over the past several years, he has served in various capacities in the Canon Law Society of America such as Chair of the Clergy Committee, Consultor for the Board of Governors, and most recently Chair for the Constitutional Revision Commission.
